Itinerary

6 night / 7 day Manchester & Liverpool by Rail

Day 1: Manchester

Arrive in Manchester and check in to the Dakota Hotel (or similar). After settling in, enjoy a relaxing Manchester River Cruise, the perfect way to begin your journey with scenic views of the city from the water. Return to your hotel where you will spend the next three nights.

Day 2: Manchester (B)

Spend the morning at leisure before joining a half day Walking Food & Drink Tour. This guided experience will take you through Manchester’s culinary highlights and hidden gems, blending food, drink, and local history.

Day 3: North Wales Tour (B)

Embark on a full day tour to Snowdonia, North Wales, and Chester. Travel through stunning mountain landscapes, explore charming Welsh villages, and discover the historic Roman city of Chester. After a day of sightseeing, return to Manchester.

Day 4: Manchester to Liverpool (B)

Take the train to Liverpool, a journey of approximately 50 minutes. On arrival, visit the British Music Experience, an interactive museum dedicated to the history of British music, followed by admission to the iconic Royal Liver Building. Spend the next two nights in Liverpool.

Day 5: Liverpool (B)

Dive deeper into Liverpool’s Beatles heritage with the Fab Four Taxi Tour – Beatles Classic. This private tour takes you to legendary sites such as Penny Lane, Strawberry Field, and the Beatles’ childhood homes. Spend the remainder of the day exploring Liverpool at your own pace before returning to your hotel.

Day 6: Manchester (B)

Return to Manchester by train. In the afternoon, enjoy an Etihad Stadium Tour, home of Manchester City Football Club, for an immersive behind-the-scenes experience. In the evening, relax and enjoy your final night in Manchester.

Day 7: Manchester (B)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and depart Manchester, concluding your journey.
